Appearance

Silverfish have a flat, carrot-shaped body covered in silvery-gray scales. They have two long antennae and three long bristles at the rear.

Habitat

Silverfish prefer dark, damp areas with high humidity. They are commonly found in bathrooms, basements, attics, and around books and paper products.
